One week out.

Feeling good, feeling nervous, feeling somewhat excited! Exactly one week out, and next week at this exact time I’m hoping I will be approaching Mordialic or past. Now the BOM haven’t released the metrics on Sunday's weather forecast; this is what I’m most nervous about! By the looks of Saturday’s weather, it’ll be a cheeky headwind to start, then tending into my favour once we start turning at Rosebud. DO NOT WORRY, I’ve analysed this thoroughly! But this is all hypothetical, and Melbourne’s weather is unpredictable, and who knows what the Sunday may bring… I’m just praying with everything crossed that it’s not a strong Northerly; if so, see you all next year 😂

I can do only what I can do; I’ve trained as best as I can and so be it. LET’S JUST HAVE A CRACK!!

This week is a little bit hectic, with University and the lived experience council for the Stroke Foundation, so it’s a good week to just Carb up and do light exercise.

I am doing the Around the Bay 135km ride because I like a challenge, and if I complete the ride it’ll be the furthest I’ve EVER ridden, IN MY LIFE! Another aspect is that the Stroke Foundation has put a team together, and I was like, ‘sounds cool, I’m in!’, so I thought, why not raise some funds while I’m at it! So if you’ve got some spare coin, this is the Donation link.

See you there if you are a rider, and good luck!

Stay tuned for updates, mainly in @4pointsaustralia

Peace out, have a cracker of a day!

Tommy
