An idea always starts over coffee.
What started as just an idea to ride around Australia became a reality with a few little prompts and words of encouragement.
Noting it was $156,000, not kilometers! From one extremity to another, the 4 points journey took 189 ‘actual’ riding days, but yet, it took three years to complete due to a car crash that Tommy sustained in 2021.
The intention was to ride from the westernmost point of Australia to the south, east, finishing in the most northern points; it did not quite work out in that order, but we successfully finished by riding into Melbourne on the 22nd of October 2023. Covering 9889kms.
These videos are some of the snapshots.

The 3 Points, Taken on Tassie
The Tassie journey was another EPIC journey covering 894kms over a 28-day period. This time, focusing on having conversations with schools and highlighting that stroke can happen at any age. Over the 28-day period, WE engaged in 18 talks and raised a further 30,000 for the Stroke Foundation, as well as having a chat with the state parliamentarians. The word WE was used because it took a village, community, to achieve this.

The 2 Points, Howlong to Canberra
This time it wasn’t really about the distance (445kms over 8 days), but it was about reaching out to the politicians, engaging and having a chat about research funding into childhood stroke. Thinking about the quality of life and the kids’ productivity for their future.
Aside from that, so far we have raised over 160,000 dollars for the Stroke Foundation, and we are not done yet!
The question is what’s next?
There are going to be a few things going on in the distant future, but that is for a later date. The main theme we want to focus on is community, and this will be one of the major ways!
It’s simple, and that’s the way we like it: Together, we hop on a train with your bike, get off, hop on your bike, go to a railtrail ride to a destination, have a meal, stay overnight, wake up, ride back to the train, hop on, and go home.
Check out the riding dates. If you want to get involved, simply sign up!
