Ride with us!
Join Tommy and Co. as we ride to Canberra.
After completing the 4, 3 and 2 points, the question is, what’s next?
Stay tuned on the socials.
We would love to have some company as we embark on yet another breathtaking journey.
If you’re a cyclist and you're interested in joining Tommy and Co. or just want to get further details, drop us a line, as we’d love to have your support along the way.
The reason WHY.
First of all I’ve got to say thank you, thank you for everything! These journeys wouldn’t have been made possible without your help.
So what a day. We started riding at some ungodly hour, with Lisa the CEO of the @strokefdn @jobriskey our local federal MP who helped us facilitate this, @jodie4dunkley @markdreyfusmp David, Heath, Gus and Rob up to parliament!!
After a Win news interview with Lisa we were all escorted into the meeting room where I shared my story about what we’ve done collectively, the journeys and the memories.
And from there it was time for a chat/yarn about childhood stroke after all this week is childhood stroke awareness week!
I felt truly honoured for the time the MPs gave myself and the crew aka Team Tom and Lisa, Jacqui and Heidi from the Stroke Foundation.
Also I’d like to thank Jo and her team, Conner and Georgie for their facilitation and organisation skills!
Here’s a few pictures to have a browse through.
After that we had a twenty minute chat with @markbutlermp highlighting that childhood stroke needs to be put on the agenda! Also chatted about question time and a few other things which was super interesting.
Then it was in for the theatrical question time where I got mentioned first by Jo and then by the speaker of the house, crazy!! LOL when I get the footage you’ll be able to see how my face was (I felt like) a squashed marshmallow from the emotions that I was feeling as there where 100+ MPs staring at me!
This is a campaign for childhood stroke and to be recognised for what we’ve done, is a privilege.
I say we because I couldn’t have done this alone.
Special thanks to Mum and Dad, DJ, Mark, Heath, Rob and Robyn and The 4 Points community, thank you!
It’s all happening on Tuesday, The 4 Points and the @strokefdn will have a chat to the pollies around childhood stroke, can’t wait!
Thanks the Pink Galas for riding with us until the grave, it was an absolute pleasure having a yarn!

Just a few snaps of the day…. I’m absolutely cooked, 1118m of elevation and constant headwind it took 7 hours total time for 74kms, a long day.
It was pretty cool however when we arrived to get a welcome party by Jasmin the mayor of Yass and Adrian the councillor, so that made it that much better and rewarding!
Sound on when you get to the video.
One more day 80kms+ into Canberra, let’s do this 💪🏼

Glad today is done. Just shy of 65kms with a 200m more of elevation (see story) than yesterday..
Pretty much the first thing we did was jumped on the pool cause it was 35 degrees! Saying that it’s all for the cause of childhood stroke research so it had to be done!
When something is set to plan you’ve got to pretty much stick to it.
There were five riders today however there were only 4 in the pool cause one was napping, and understandably, it spent all of us!
We will #backitup tomorrow 💪🏼
Check out what this is all and why we are doing it in the link in bio.

It was a great turnout in Victorian Parliament House today!
We were hosted by @dannypearsonmp and his incredible staff.
It was amazing to meet my neurosurgeon after 20 years or so, great chat, also learnt a lot in a very short space of time!
It was a privilege to meet the CEO of @theflorey also to share the experience with the @strokefdn
Lastly to the team that rode with me on the day, including @mayor.rose.iser or came out to support us, thank you!!
This is just the start of the 2 points campaign!

It was a great event we had at @prahranmarket listening to The Suspects and then (me) giving a short speech about the 2 points - Howlong to Canberra ride and how stroke can effect anyone at any age, it doesn’t discriminate!
Greatly appreciated the opportunity, and @joneszee1950 thanks for organising all of this!
Lastly, I’m super amazed in this amazing group of peeps who came out to support the cause and listen to some rad music! Truly blessed ❤️❤️

From me stressing hard and losing sleep over what was really the little things, this guy had all the answers!
Big shout out to @robwood981 at @99bikes_maribyrnong for getting the AZUB tri-fly 26” aka my baby up and running again!
In a nutshell the issue was the timeframe, from transitioning from e-assist (ever since the car crash) to manual and me realising that I really needed a bigger timeframe to train, to get back to full capacity e.g before the crash (I also destroyed the derailer, big time) so we quickly switched back to e-assist.
Leading to this point, GET ON YOUR TRIKE, RIDE AND TRAIN, Tommy!!
Exactly a month out to The 2 Points ride, Howlong to Canberra!
If you don’t know what The 2 Points is about check out the link in bio, the4points.org has all the answers 😉
